Little Star Book Review

'Tis the season for celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus. What better way to teach your kids the greatest story ever told than through beautiful Christmas story books.

One in particular is titled, "Little Star", by Anthony DeStefano. I was given the chance to review it through Blogging For Books. As soon as I received it in the mail, my son was thrilled to read it. Anything that gets him excited about reading is great!

That evenings bedtime story, told of the Christmas Star. It's start out with a dad telling his son of how Little Star played an important role in the birth of baby Jesus.

A lonely little star in the heavens felt sad and all by himself because of his size. His light couldn't compare to the bright lights of the other stars. Feeling insignificant, he wondered what his place in the universe would be. But when it was time for baby Jesus to be born, he was the only one to understand just what gift the infant King would bring to all mankind.

My thoughts:

I thought it was a sweet story to read to your little ones around the holidays. Especially at bedtime.
Disclosure: I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
