Unto The Hills Book Review

As you may all know, I'm a daily devotional kind of girl. There's something about taking a few minutes to just sit on the couch with a hot cup of coffee and meditate on the passage of the day. It helps my day get started on the right foot.

This year, I decided to commit to reading "Unto The Hills" by world renowned author Billy Graham. I chose this book to review from Booksneeze. It's a book that teaches you that though being on the hills and mountain tops are our beautiful experiences in life, sometimes we have to go through the valley. And the valleys of life are where fruit is produced.

When my husband and I were newly married, a sweet sister in the church we belonged to, gave us his and her copies of Unto The Hills. I read mine constantly for several weeks. I found that the messages were always right on time. I can remember mornings when I felt I need an answer from God, and after reading the book, I knew I had heard from Him and got the courage I needed!

It's been 25 years since the author first wrote the book, and publishers, Thomas Nelson, has re-released this classic. Billy Graham has taken over 50 years of ministry notes, study and sermons, along with a little bit of help from his wife, and combined it all into 365 meditations. In the second edition, you'll find a few minor changes that bring more clarity to the devotional.

Each day is broken down into a scripture, thought, and a prayer that are easy to read and understand.

Looking for something new to read to deepen your relationship with Christ? Give Unto The Hills a try. You won't be disappointed!
