My thoughts

My family has been watching these DVD's all week and it has been a pleasure to watch.   The fighting scenes were awesome and not watered down.  I really got the feeling as though I were there watching it all unfold. It's been refreshing to sit together as a family and watch a movie that encourages our hearts and spirits.
While not everything in the movie actually happened, it challenged us to want to go and study our bibles.

As a Christian, I am so pleased that Hollywood would take the time to produce such a great Miniseries and I can't wait for more!

Disclosure: I received the DVD in exchange for my review.  All opinions are my own.

  1. Very interesting. My first thought was - that looks like Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt playing Jesus?

    Ummmmm?

Thanks for the review! I have never heard of it, but might want to investigate further.

Thanks so much for connecting at the UPB13!

    1. I can say that I'm impressed by the action scenes. Not corny like some movies can be. Plus, they portray Jesus in a different light which is kinda refreshing.
