Get Unplugged this Summer with AMF

Summer is in full swing and I am steady looking for fun, affordable, activities for the family to participate in.  My youngest has been spending a lot of time in front of the TV playing videos games.  But it's time out for that!  Time to get out of the house and get moving!

As I have mention earlier, I'm on a frugal quest to find cheap ways to entertain my family.  One way to save money is AMF's new and improved Summer Unplugged and Summer Pass.

The AMF Summer Pass is a program that lets kids bowl for free all Summer long.  You get 2 free games per day, every day.  Now that's what I'm talkin' about!  You do have to pay for your own shoes though.  I've heard that they run about two bucks.

Just register here.  There are no coupons to print, just present your membership card.  You can also add additional games for $1.49.

Plus, adults can join in on the fun too.  Pay $34.95 for 2 games per day for up to three guest ages 16 and up.  And yes, you have to pay for your own shoes too.

My family and I did this program a few years back but we didn't understand that we had to pay for shoes, so it didn't feel free.  But hey, two dollars per kid really isn't a bad deal.  I'll have to add this to my frugal list of things to do.

How are you and your family beating boredom this Summer?  When was the last time you an your family went bowling?

    1. I like that too. Printing coupons can really use up your ink.
