Wantable - My First Subscription Box!

I'm trying out my very first subscription box through Tomoson called Wantable.

The box was a little grungy, but it's what's on the inside that matters, right?

Wantable has three different types of subscriptions you can pick, makeup, accessories, and intimates.  Make up boxes come with full-sized premium makeup products that are hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences.

The way it works is, you take a style quiz and you'll be sent items based on what you like.  Wantable will match
you with the perfect products for you, not necessarily what's pictured.

My first thought was pure joy! I love the the thought of getting things in the mail that are sort of a surprise. But I chose the Limited Edition Holiday Box, so I was able to see which one I wanted.  Gold was my choice.

I like the make up bag.  I can store all my goodies inside.

First, I got a pack of Bella Rollerball eyeshadow. I've never tried Rollerball eye shadows before so I wasn't sure what to think about them, but I was surprise how smooth they went on. For some reason, I thought they would be a liquid, but they felt like a powder. I loved the shimmer too 'cause I'm a shimmery kind of girl! You just roll it on and blend it in with your finger tips. Easy peasy!

The Gold lip gloss was sheer with specks of gold glitter in it.  This will look cute over a brown or red lipstick.

Now to the earrings. I love those that dangle, but I didn't care for these as much because they were very heavy on my ears.  They're kinda pretty though...

Oh, and I almost forgot the nail polish! Love, love, love it! I plan to do a full review on it soon.

Lastly, I received a sleep mask from Spa Sister.  It's silk on the side touching your skin and satin on the outside.  Now, I really don't wear sleep masks, but I'll consider it the next time my neighbor forgets to turn off her porch light - right outside my bedroom window!

Overall, I like the items in the Wantable box, but at $36 a pop, it was a bit more pricey than my budget would allow. But the nice thing is you can choose a one time option that costs $40 and you can cancel that one at anytime. Hmm, my birthday is coming up soon...better yet, maybe I could hit up Santa ; )

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Very cool! Isn't it great receiving a subscription box? I think I've heard of that one, but not sure. Love the products you received. When I was reading the blurb before clicking on "read more," I knew you would go with the makeup choice. :-)

I still get BeautyBox and NatureBox... it's on my to-do list to cancel the beauty one, but I just can't make myself do it. It's not too bad at about $20. The NatureBox is a little higher, but very worth it. I'm gonna cancel one of them soon. It's sort of a luxury, ya know?

  3. Wow Tomoson is starting to get better products to review on their website. But $36 a month for a subscription box is a bit out of my price range. Looks like to got some nice goodies in your Wantable box though. #ProductReviewParty
