Crash The Chatterbox Book Review

Do you hear voices in your head?  Don't laugh. You know, the kind of thoughts that we all have from time to time that are often negative in nature?  If you are honest, you'd agree that most people are bombarded with negative thoughts more than they are positive.  Especially in a culture that puts so much emphasis on looks, being perfect, and being Pinterest worthy at all times.  When you don't fit that flawless mold, thoughts of being inadequate can overtake you.

Author Steven Furtick has set out to help you stop this negative thinking with his new book, "Crash the Chatterbox, Hearing God's Voice Above All Others".  If you have a constant battle with thoughts like:

"I'm not good enough"
"No one likes me"
"I'm not as qualified as him/her"
and so on and so on

,,,then this book is for you.

Think you're immune to the Chatterbox?  Watch this funny video to see what I mean.

Chapter examples include:

1. Subverting the Sabotage
2. Cancel the Audition
3. God Likes Me Too
4. Who Told You That?
(13 chapters in all)

There are 4 main sections in this book.  God Says I am, God Says He Will, God Says He Has, and God Says I Can.

My thoughts:

One of the Pastors at my church did a teaching on this book for a few weeks and it was very enlightening.  I knew I had to read the book.  You find the help you need to listen to the right voice, God's voice and Crash the Chatterbox once and for all.  Visit the to learn more.

  1. I use to be that person that talked down about myself and God uplifted me and showed me I can be and do anything. I keep myself surrounded by positive people and push the negative ones away. This sounds like a good book to read. #ProductReviewParty

    1. Great tips Louida. I think we all battle talking down on ourselves at one time or another. This book was and is a great reminder to keep focused on what God says about me/us.

  2. I really like the sound of this. My husband says I walk around like I am the main star and everyone else is a co-star or supporting cast. Don't know how to take that but I am pretty confident in myself and know God loves me in spite of!! #productreviewparty

    1. Don't feel bad, I do it too. The key is not to repeat those negative thoughts we hear and to choose to speak positive things instead.
