Does Kiss Instawave Curling Iron Work on Short Hair?

A few weeks ago, I received the Kiss Instawave Automatic Curler to try out on my tresses.  Here's my honest thoughts on how it worked for me.

When I first received my box, I couldn't wait to play with this baby.  I used to wear my hair curly all the time, but stopped because it's so time consuming.  If this could make curling my hair easy, I was willing to try it.

Product features:

Diamond Ceramic Technology
Ceramic Ionic Technology
420 Max Temperature
Auto Shutoff
Tangle-Free
Price - $59.99

So did it work?  Well, let's just say that the Instawave was not easy to use for me.  Watch below to see what I mean.

I think the idea is that if your hair is really long, or if you wear a long weave, you can use this curling wand to create curls at the end of your hair.  If it is just below your shoulder, shoulder length, or shorter, this product is not for you.  However, if you've been blessed with hair down to there, you would probably come up with some nice curls with this.

Have you tried the Kiss Instawave Automatic Curler?

  1. I could see how that would be a hassle to use on shorter hair. My hair is just a little past my shoulders and I think I might be scared it would get tangled up in there! I think I'll stick with my traditional curling methods! Darn, I'm always looking for an easier way, too :)

    1. My hair is just about shoulder length. The things is, I never considered my hair to really be short, so I expected it to work somewhat. Oh well. Maybe I'll try it if I ever wear a long weave.

  2. I haven't tried it, of course! Lol. But I think you're right it looks like it'll be easier on longer hair.
