We're Helping Fight Hunger and You Can Too! #WeSparkChange #Shop2Give #ad

Every Sunday after church, we always head to our local Walmart to grab a few extra things we need for the week.  Cereal is always on the list since we run out so fast.
My kids love Honey Nut Cheerios, so I have to make sure I pick up a box, along with other snacks, since everyone is starving after church.  Can I get an amen?

He can't even wait to get home!

But what do we really know about being hungry?  Did you know that according to the USDA 1 in 6 people may be going without food?  And, a lot of them unfortunately, are children!

No one should struggle with hunger!  That's why Walmart is joining the fight against hunger and I'm glad that I can help in the battle by purchasing specially marked foods.  So can you!  It's real easy to do.

Make a purchase of specially marked packages of food from brands like Campbell's, General Mills, Kellogg's, Con Agra, Kraft, and Unilever from April 6th to May 3rd. and one meal will be secured on behalf of Feeding America food banks.  My kids love Honey Nut Cheerios, and since I'm already going to be at Walmart, it just makes sense to pick up a box.  Or two!

It feels good to know that I can help make a difference by making one small purchase.

For more info on Feeding America, read the stats below.

Again, here's how you can help!

1 purchased item = 1 meal
Register giving ($1, $2, $5 or other)
Social sharing 1x = 1 meal

  4. This is an awesome initiative. It it really sad that people anywhere live in hunger and the numbers in the US are down right shameful. I will be sure to pay attention to foods and brands that give back. My hubs is a big cereal eater so we will definitely start there.
