Okay, now that you have that jingle in your head, I want to tell you about a pair of shorts that I got for a steal! During Summer, I wear shorts all the time, no pants for me! Although I usually wear my shorts mid thigh length, I did purchase this little shiny denim number from none other than Kmart.
Whaaat??? I can hear the gasps from here. Yes girlfriend, Kmart. One of my best kept secrets is finding cute wardrobe pieces from Kmart. Mmm hmm.
Take these shorts. I got them for $3.39! You heard me right. How did I do that? Chile, let me tell you.
I constantly get emails from Kmart telling me that I have three or six dollars in rewards points. I usually delete them, but this time I didn't and I'm so glad. I got $10 off any purchase. Since I specifically wanted to buy shorts, I headed there before my points would expire. Rewards points can be used off most purchases, but not everything. No food, cleaning products, nor makeup. But clothing? Yes!
These pair of shorts were on sale for $13.39 so I knew my coupon would work. If you have shopped with Kmart or Sears Reward points you know it can be a crap shoot. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.
Please work, please, please work, I said to myself while the cashier range me up. "That will be $3.49".
Oh yeah, oh yeah, doing the Cabbage Patch in my head!
I will say this, you'd better know your pin number for your Kmart rewards points. Without it, your transaction can be delayed or your points won't work and aint nobody got time for that. Especially at Kmart!
P.s. Got them wedges from Kmart too!
I'm still a personal shopper with Kmart if you'd like to sign up through my referral link to earn rewards points, but that's not the purpose of this post.
So what do you think? Do you shop at Kmart or is it too much of a hassle?
