Max Factor X is Back Y'all!

Do you remember Max Factor? My thoughts bring me to a time when they were a prestigious brand in the 80's. I think my aunt or mom would wear it.

Then it was like, where did they go? Turns out they moved overseas due to declining sales. Apparently, they've been selling well in the UK, but recently decided to bring the well known makeup line back to the US.

I was sent press samples to share my thoughts on. I absolutely love the packaging!

Inside my box makeup goodies, I found two lipsticks, Max Factor X Masterpiece Max mascara, and Masterpiece High Precision liquid eye liner.

Max Factor X lipstick in Maroon Dust and Simply Nude (left to right).

The lipstick is super creamy, just like I like it to be. But since I don't wear nudes these colors make my lips look pale. I bet a classic red would have looked good. Next time I'll make sure your girl gets samples to match her skin tone. They do look good on my arm though, don't they?

Of course, the mascara will get plenty of use and I'm excited to try a winged eyeliner look on my eyes. I'll be sure to share my results on my social media channels so be sure to follow along!

Have you seen Max Factor in stores? Will you be trying this famous brand of makeup?

  5. Yeah I agree, that nude would look pale on you. It would be pale on me as well. But, I'm loving the creaminess of it.

Also, I actually never heard of Fax Factor before. Where have I been? #ProductReviewParty
