The 5th Quarter Movie Review

This weekend, my family and I watched the inspirational true story,  It's a movie about family, faith, and football.  Since I have a house full of guys, I knew this movie would be a must watch.  Little did I know it was going to be a tear jerker.

It tells of the family sudden tragedy of losing a promising young football star.  You'll take a journey with the family in how they rise from tragedy to a triumphant ending.  I also shines a light on the importance of being a donor.

Our thoughts:

My boys were interested at first and then became a little bored with the plot.  My youngest eventually started playing in his room, while his older brother felt forced to stay and watch.  ( I told him he had to!)  I guess they're not really into dramas, nor movies that may pull too much at your heart strings.

My husband, daughter, and I were all pleased with this touching flick.  Even though I was a bit over whelmed by the tragic beginning of the movie.  It kinda struck a nerve with me that I wasn't prepared for.
I really enjoy the honest portrayal of the parents.  This is a beautiful movie that is family friendly although your little ones may not watch it.

Disclosure: I received this movie in exchange for my honest review.  All opinions are mine.

Holla at your girl!
