New Natural Hair Care Products I'm Trying - All About Curls & Soapbox

Being a beauty product junkie has its perks. Sometimes I across opportunities to try new beauty products and the first thing I want to do is get my hands on them and tell you all about it.

I recently asked my Instagram community (I hope you are a part of it) whether or not they would like to see an All About Curls review. I received an All ABout Curls Influenster Voxbox. Y'all spoke loud and clear with a resounding yes so here is a review of both the All About Curls collection and new Soapbox haircare.

Zotos All About Curls

All About Curls No Lather Cleanser - a foamless formula that gently cleans hair. For a no lather cleanser this lathered up pretty well for me.

All About Curls Daily Cream Conditioner - a conditioner that leaves your hair moisturized and soft. This conditioner was decent and moisturize my hair as expected.

All About Curls High Definition Gel - a styling gel that locks in my sister will shine gives curls control without the crunch defined without the frizz. I like to use my hair gel to smooth down my edges and this didn't really work for that. It's more for defining curls.

All About Curls Bouncy Cream - a moisturizing styling cream that defrizzes curls. It wasn't as moisturizing as I would have liked it to be but it did alright when I added more to my hair.

My Thoughts

The one thing that I noticed about the All About Curls collection is the scent is very underwhelming. I like my natural hair care products to smell good. Most of the products I use smell either fruity or coconutty in some way. All About Curls had that old-school shampoo smell. On the plus side, it would be perfect for late summer days when there are lots of bees and bugs out and you don't want to attract them.

Soapbox Hair Care

Soapbox Coconut Oil Moisture Rejuvenating Deep Conditioner Jar - A creamy deep conditioner packed with coconut oil blend it with so I've been oil Teatree oil vitamin E, Shea butter for extra hydrating thirsty hair. The conditioner was very thick and moisturized my hair very well. I loved the coconut scent and it gave my hair a really nice shine.

Soapbox Light Weight Coconut Oil Moisture & Nourish - A light hair oil for dry damaged hair. I liked the fact that it's a light oil and the scent was amazing!

My Thoughts

I was impressed with these Soapbox hair care products and I love the fact that they give a bar of soap to those that need it for every purchase made. This line is a bit expensive though so keep that in mind.

  2. I've never heard of neither, but I do appreciate knowing background information WHEN I do come across them. Thanks for the review. I like good smelling hair products, but I will admit, being on a farm, and using the fruity smelling hair stuff creates a unique set of issues. LOL!

    1. Well it's not exactly fragrance free, just not fragrant enough to my liking.
