Come along with me to Falls Coffee, a local coffee shop just a few minutes walk from Minnehaha Falls.

It’s a nice bright space and they have everything you need to start your morning right. It’s also a perfect work from home spot.

You can expect to find signature coffee drinks, like the skull latte and cold fashion classics like Falls, cream, cold brew, cookies, and cream, chiller, and mango fruit tea. They also offer ham and cheese, croissants, breakfast burrito, and more.

Check out Falls coffee menu here.

  • I was excited to try the March coffee specials which included :

  • Muffin Top Chai - made with blueberry

Banana Bliss Matcha - made with banana syrup and cookie crumbles on top.

    Blueberry scone

  • I absolutely loved the muffin top chai! It was fruity and sweet. Next time you’re in the area, stop by and give them a try!

Are you doing Dry January and looking for where to buy nonalcoholic drinks? Take a look at these three N/A bottle shops in the Twin Cities.

3 N/A Bottle Shops to Visit All Year Long

    1. Marigold – I’ve been to Marigold a couple times and they have a great selection of non alcoholic beverages from nonalcoholic wines to N/A beers and more.

    Marigold

    3506 Nicolette Ave. S., Minneapolis

    2236 Carter Ave., Saint Paul

    2. Zero proof – I had the pleasure of attending a yelp event at Zero Proof, where they carry functional non alcoholic beverages and spirits.

    2516 Central Ave. NE., Minneapolis

    3. Lucille’s – I have not made it all over to Lucille‘s bottle shop yet, but I’ve been hearing about a lot about them. You can find all sorts of nonalcoholic beverages, and even host an event.

    Lucille's

    24 W. 7th Pl., Saint Paul

All of these bottle shops are very knowledgeable of their products and offer tastings as well!

It’s always cool when Minneapolis gets national recognition for its food. Take example Isles Bun and Coffee. I tried them for the first time over the holidays because I had to see what the buzz was all about.

One late morning, I picked up a caramel roll and a puppy dog tail. Of course I got an extra dollop of frosting.

The caramel roll was fine and my puppy dog tail was kind of hard and crunchy. Is it supposed to be like that? I think I’ll have to go back and visit in the early morning hours when it’s hot and fresh.

What’s your favorite place to get cinnamon rolls? Is Isles Bun your favorite?
