Everyday Mom Style: Fashion Ideas for Basketball Moms

Cold weather, basketball practice and Friday night games can mean only one thing. It's Basketball season! But if you are new to being a basketball mom, you may need a few tips on what to wear to your kids basket ball game.

Fashion Ideas for Basketball Moms

For many years, I have been a basketball mom so I know a thing or two about sitting in bleachers all day, especially during basketball tournaments. It something you really have to be prepared for and dress accordingly.

It's all about being comfortable. Nobody wants to be sitting  for hours with your pants cutting into your tummy, been there. Think legging with a long top and flats with a scarf. Throw on the school colors and you'll be the mom of the year.

A stylish tote is perfect for carrying around snacks, ipods, magazines, everything you need to keep your family satisfied during the games and half time breaks.

Tee and Yoga pants Target. Vest, Christopher & Banks.

I personally think it's okay to sport a cute fitted tee and yoga pant with a pair of stylish Nikes. Throw on a cute scarf and earrings and you've got a stylish basketball mom look. But hey, that's me.

Just don't wear stilettos or high heels boots with shirts with plunging necklines. Don't be that mom. Keep those outfits for date night or your girls night out.

Are you a basketball mom? What do you like to wear to the games?

  1. Hey Stacie,
Good topic of discussion! I am a basketball mom, and yes I need to be looking crute at the games! LOL! It can be a challenge to stay warm, be comfortable and look cute! I like to wear my riding boots with jeans and a sweater-but I like the option you've shown with the vest. I'll have to purchase one of those soon!

    1. Girl, yes. Some might say that you shouldn't wear yoga pants but if you style them right, you can pull off a really cute but most importantly comfy look!
