I've struggled with writing this post. Since the senseless cop killing of Geoge Floyd took place, I have watched the news 24/7 and have not slept much. Not only because of how tragic this loss is to the black community but also because it's in my own backyard.

Yesterday was a bittersweet day for me. It was my son's last day of school. My youngest, my baby, has graduated and I can't tell you enough how proud I am of him!

Happy April! Spring has sprung and it's time to spring clean our homes. Oh, the joy!

It's been almost a week since our schools have shut down and bars, restaurants, and some stores and daycares have followed suit. Even our beloved Mall of America shut down yesterday.

By now we have all heard that the Coronavirus is here and Covid 19 has made it to a few of our states. Panic buying has started which has cause pandemonium in stores like Cosco and many stores are out of everyday essentials.

I celebrated my birthday a few days ago. But having a winter birthday sometimes means I'm confined to my house. Just last year, we had a polar vertex with air temperatures in the -20 range. Brrr!
